Tough Week
So the last week of the transfer wasn´t what I thought or hoped it would be. I am going to be completely honest, we didnt have much success. I think it was actually one of the worst weeks that I have had in the mission. It was really bad. All of our investigators decided to take vacations this week and so we didnt get to teach or see any of them! Not even kidding not one of them. It was really hard, but I guess that is how things are sometimes. I didnt like it but this week we are just going to be working alot harder. One good things was, was that I had tacos! :) We were invited over to the house of this member and she bought all of the supplies for the food and all we had to do was cook it! :) woot woot. It was so good. I am going to be honest, I make some good tacos. So that was something really cool. This week we pasted by alot of the members sharing short 30 minute lessons of the restoration. It was cool but we didnt receive any references. That was the kinda stupid part. I think it will be good for future references. They really liked seeing us pass by and share something small with all of them. Especially the lady with whom we made tacos. She lost her husband about 4 or 5 months ago and she is having a hard time still. So that was good that we went over and talked and shared with her for that little while. But yeah haha. Ok something really cool that happened. So... I think it was like thursday or something I felt really sick. So I took a nap and the whole time I was just like lord please help us find someone so I dont feel completely useless out here on the mission. I am really struggling please just help. I wake up 2 hours later as it someone jumped on me waking me up. My comp was studying the scriptures and when I asked him why he didnt wake me up earlier he was like well you didnt feel good. I was like dude I told you to wake me up over an hour ago. ha. Well I was like yeah we are getting out of the house right now. Well something that I didnt say, was that right as I woke up this name came to my mind; Alicia. I was like who the crap is Alicia. Well I at first just threw it off. I didnt even think about it. I didnt know what the heck I was talking about and I didnt want to waste my time on a false name so I was just like whatever and I started to get ready to go out to work. As I was getting ready this name just kept coming back to my mind and I just couldnt get it out of my head and so I finally went over to the area book and started to look. As I looked I came upon this old investigator and I was like this is her. I wrote down the address and the first thing that I did as I got out of the house was head straight for her house. I got there and, nothing. So I was like this is ridiculous. Lord you sent me here for a reason. WHY!? So we went up the hill a little more. To the farthest most outer corner of my sector where we found a lady and her kid. We presented ourselves, hey we are missionaries and we have a message that we want to share about the families. She did the typical chilean thing and was like I am busy. Well I said, can we come in for just a little and share a message with you and your kid!? Yeah sure come on in. haha It was so weird, but now we are teaching them and they have desires to be baptized. :) Woot woot. Also the heading of my email. My father of the mission Elder Pulver is finally going to end his mission today! I cant believe it. I am really sad actually. I know he will do well in the real world though. Well I think that, that is all for this week. Thanks for tuning in and I will see you next week.
