My Week

Ok, well this week was just like any other week. I dont have much crazy things happening lately haha maybe I am just not looking. I can say that we are really focused in the work. Even more than I was with elder Pulver. It is really cool. I am becoming a better teacher and missionary everyday I feel. I can definitely see the changes that are taking place. We are working really hard to get baptisms this month. Our sector is so tough. Our ward is falling apart. They are not unified and dont work together. It is like having a team of really good people and none of them wanting to work together. It is really sad and hard. Also our bishop is tough... He is always trying to make things complicated with us. We try to be a support but whenever we talk about the changes and the missionay work he just belittles us and makes it seem like we are not doing anything important. He doesnt want to help us haha we are going 3 months without a ward mission leader. But we are still fighting and trying to help the ward. So that is the update of Panamericana.

This week we had some crazy things happen we have this member whose name is diego. He is a stud! We are working with his girlfriend trying to get her baptized but she has a few problems and doesnt want to get married either. So this week they got in a fight because diego bought a phone from this kid off the street and in some hidden files was some bad things and Prisila(his girlfriend) thought that it was his. He tried to explain to her that it wasnt his but she didnt believe him and started yelling and kicked him out. So the only thing he could think to do was turn to the lord. He called us and asked us what he should do and if we could help in any way. We of course cant do much more than spiritual help but we said we would try. He showed us this program he downloaded to clean everything off the phone and that through this program all these old files poped up. We didnt see anything of course but you understand. Well we said a prayer and after a few hours we decided to pass by their house. Diego was just off walking around aimlessly. Well we went to talk to her and calmed her down a little more. He went back that night to try and work things out again and it didnt do anything and around 11:00 at night he shows up at our door... We invited him in because he was holding his things there because he had no house and we talked and Elder Cadima invited him to stay... Wow... I was a little put off by this, because it is a rule that we cant do that. I didnt really know what to do. It was 11:30 at night and my senior comp already said he could stay over... So we pulled out a bed and got him settled down for the night. It is a really good thing that I would trust Diego with my life haha. Well he stayed the night and the next day he went to church with us and waited for his mother in law to come down and help him talk with his girlfriend. During church we read something though. It said something like those who turn their fellow man away in times of need turn me away. It is better to serve another when it is hard. It was something like that and after reading that elder cadima and I looked at each other and we were calmed just a little bit more. We dont really know what the final outcome is still but we think that it is good. Haha So yeah that is the story of Diego and us.


Well that is the only story that I can think of right now. I have a lot more but to hear those you will just have to wait a year and a half or write me a letter. :)
