Hello Mutta, Hello Futta

Hello mother.... Hello father... Here I am in... concepcion chile... it is very.. entertaining.. and they say we´ll have some fun if the temperature goes down about 20 degrees. haha
Hello America!!! How we doing? Well the weather here in Chile is a blistering ``almost to hot to walk in`` haha The dogs have turned vicious and are seeking blood now and the people are doing nothing but staying in side drinking coke a cola and sweating in what they just drank. No it is not that bad. But sometimes that is how it feels haha

So my week.... wow, it was a tough one...
Primero!
I am going to first tell you about the bad so we can end with the good :) I officially have had the worst day on my mission. It is not the worst day as in we didn't do anything and couldn't find anyone... Actually it is on the contrary. We had a lot of success but the WHOLE day I had never been so tired in my life. I don't know what happened but both elder Pulver and I had ZERO energy. It was like we were walking around with huge 45 pound bags on our legs, arms, back, eyes, and everywhere else too! haha By the end of the day we both collapsed on our beds. I think we fell asleep about 10 seconds after hitting the pillow. At the most haha It was ridiculous. haha but oh well you gotta love those days right ;)

Segundo!
Well this week on Wednesday we got to take a jolly good adventure down to a place called linarres to have a mini conference. It was pretty much amazing! We learned how to be better missionaries. Oh and the standards of work here are going up A LOT! haha but that is ok because that means we are going to become really good servants in the lords hands, as long as we are willing to do what he asks. It was nearly all day. We left at 8 in the morning and got home around 6 at night. It was so good though. It is amazing how simplicity is so key out here in the mission field. When you think that you know what you are doing, someone shows you how to do it simply and you feel like a tard because you sometimes over think things. That is why the gospel is so cool. It is so simple and easy to understand. That is how god created it. :)

Tercer!
This is going to be a combination of things that happened through the week. First off Jhoana and Anna got confirmed! :) :) woooo!!!! I am so happy for them. They are doing so good and are going to be great for the ward. Also something I forgot to write last time is, we have some really sick people in our ward. Two of our really strong and active members have cancer and one of them has turned yellow because of it. Also one of the members of our ward has been going through eye surgery and it is hard for him to even move because when he does it puts pressure in his eyes and it hurts. The amazing things was... On the 23rd everyone of them came to church. It was amazing :) and now they are still coming and doing everything possible. Our ward is getting so much closer and loving each other so much more too. I love it. :) haha also Yesterday in church one of the most craziest things happened haha not even kidding. So there is this man named Felix. Felix is... different. He is kinda crazy and just not all there sometimes. He is a really nice guy and is literally always smiling. He has no teeth, just black little stubby gums, crooked lazy eyes and a hunch back. Not way bad but a little one. Well we always run into this guy and he always asks us for things to read so he has probably as much Mormon doctrine stuff as we do. Also he is terrified of tremors and the end of the world. We told him he could come to church many times but in the last 4 months and even before that has never gone. Well yesterday we were sitting in class learning about the creation when all of a sudden I look up at the little window in the door, and there stands Felix. A huge black stub grin on his face, his crooked eyes and hunch back looking directly at us. I will be honest, at first it scared the crap out of me. haha but he came in and listened to the lesson and after he left. It was really funny looking back on it. Oh and he also changed his clothes to come. Usually he wears the same thing everyday. But yesterday he had a nice green button up plaid shirt, with the same pair of sweats he always wears. haha that is the story of Felix. Our Friend. :)

Last but not least....
We have been seeing so many blessings lately. We have been having a hard time with contacts and trying to find people, but within the last week we have just been having people fall out of heaven. Blessings have been falling lately. This is just another testament to me that if you do what you are asked and do everything possible you are going to be blessed. I love it. I love this gospel and seeing how much the lord blesses not only us, but the people around us too! I have been really blessed in this sector and am excited to see what the future holds for it :)

Ok, that is it for today. Go on, I know it is tough but you have to go back to  your normal lives. I know you could sit here and read this all day but I just cant let you do that ;) no haha just a joke. But I just want you all to know I love you! I cant explain how much I love this gospel and my lord Jesus Christ. Also, everyone... You need to stop getting married!! What the heck. I leave for 6 months and now everyone is getting married. It is ridiculous haha

Love you all,
Elder Brown
